Creative freedom is preferred to ensure you receive a unique piece. Luka’s style is complex, and so a minimum size of 6” is required.

When can I come in for a consult?

Luka has found that it is best for people to wait until they are actively scheduling their calendar. That way no requests get lost during the time they are not scheduling. Once you submit a request, you will be contacted as soon as Luka is ready to sit down with you and choose a date!

I want a tattoo next week! Is Luka available?

Luka books 3-6 months at a time depending on the size of the projects. Typically they book new projects at the beginning of each quarter, but this gives plenty of time to think about your piece!

Luka does not currently tattoo those areas (except a little at the base of the neck).

How much does a session cost?

Luka charges a minimum of $800 for custom projects, and charges $1500 max a day. You can discuss your budget and design needs at your free consultation.

Do I need a deposit?

Yes, Luka requires nonrefundable deposits to schedule you and begin research and design. Depending on the size of the project, the deposit may be $200 for a single day, to $1500 for a full sleeve. Deposits are applied on the final day of your project to ensure it gets finished. For some more complex ideas that require lots of research, photography, and sometimes subcontracting and/or minor travel, the deposit is used as a design fee.

Can I see my design before the appointment?

Luka does not share the design beforehand as a matter of policy, to avoid theft of designs. They will be sad if you come to them six months later with a botched attempt of their work by another artist.

What payment options are available?

Luka accepts cash, card, and Venmo!

What is Luka’s policy on reschedules and/or cancellations?

Last minute cancellations will lose their deposits and a new deposit will need to be placed to schedule a new appointment (exceptions for tragic and medical situations).

Luka requires one week's notice to reschedule full day appointments as it is not easy to fill a last minute space with a full day tattoo. For anything half day or smaller, 96 hours (four days) notice is required. :)

If a client reschedules 3 times in a row they will be asked to place a new deposit before scheduling again. (Old deposit is void.)

If a client with a larger project does not schedule remaining sessions for 3 consecutive months, a new deposit will be required. (Old deposit is void.) Luka reserves the right to restart the design on a new person if it is not a piece with personal significance to the client.

Does Luka accept tips besides cash?

Yes, they also accept mid to high shelf whiskey, cigars, animal skulls, and good books!
